Surrey Scentwork is dedicated to providing high quality Scentwork training in Surrey, helping dogs and caregivers discover the benefits of this rewarding and confidence building activity. With a focus on positive, reward-based methods, we offer supportive dog Scentwork classes and workshops suitable for all breeds, ages and experience levels. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where dogs can thrive, build focus and confidence.

 

Meet Sarah -

Sarah has been training dogs in scentwork for over 10 years and is passionate about helping dogs and their caregivers discover just how rewarding this activity can be.

Her positive, fun, and dog-centred approach focuses on building confidence and creating a trusting partnership between handler and dog. Whether she’s helping a nervous newcomer take their first steps or supporting a team preparing for trials, Sarah loves watching dogs grow in confidence and truly enjoy themselves while searching.

With extensive experience across a wide range of breeds and personalities, Sarah believes that every dog can succeed in scentwork when given the chance to learn at their own pace. Her calm, encouraging teaching style makes classes enjoyable, rewarding, and accessible for everyone — from complete beginners to seasoned competitors.

Our Qualifications & Experience

At Surrey Scentwork, our trainers are passionate about helping dogs and caregivers discover the joy of scentwork.
We are qualified Scentwork UK Trainers, Certified Judges, and Trial Organisers, bringing years of experience and a genuine love for what we do.

We have also completed the Scent Imprint for Dogs Level One Instructor Course, and continue to expand our knowledge through regular workshops and advanced training with our own dogs.

We believe that the best trainers never stop learning — and we’re committed to offering the most up-to-date, effective, and ethical scentwork training methods.
