Beginners Scentwork

Our Beginners Workshops and Classes are perfect for those completely new to scentwork. 

​

Scentwork is incredibly rewarding — for both dogs and handlers!
Our beginner courses start with the basics, using food searches to encourage your dog to explore and engage with different areas and items. As the course progresses, we’ll introduce a specific target scent and gently increase the challenge based on each dog’s confidence and ability.

Sarah’s main aim is that you — and your dog — have fun while learning together!

Course format:

• Daytime courses: Fortnightly, 2-hour sessions

• Evening classes: Weekly, 1-hour sessions
  Each course provides a total of around six hours of training (3 × 2-hour sessions or 6 × 1-hour sessions).

Advanced Classes

For dogs and handlers who have already completed beginner or intermediate levels, we offer a range of advanced classes across Surrey. These sessions focus on building complexity, refining search patterns, and preparing for trials or higher-level scentwork challenges.
